1. Research Use Only Classification
All products offered by getapep LLC are classified and sold exclusively as Research Use Only (RUO) materials. This designation means that these products are intended solely for laboratory research conducted in controlled, in-vitro (outside of a living organism) settings by qualified scientific personnel at accredited research institutions or licensed commercial laboratories.
2. Prohibited Applications
RUO products must not be used for: (a) human consumption, ingestion, injection, inhalation, or any other form of bodily introduction; (b) veterinary treatment or animal husbandry applications; (c) diagnostic, therapeutic, prophylactic, or palliative purposes; (d) compounding, reformulation, or resale as a consumer product, dietary supplement, or cosmetic; (e) any application requiring regulatory approval from the FDA, DEA, USDA, or equivalent authority.
3. Purchaser Eligibility
By placing an order, purchasers represent and warrant that they are: (a) a qualified researcher, scientist, or laboratory professional acting within the scope of a legitimate research program; (b) affiliated with or purchasing on behalf of a licensed commercial laboratory, academic institution, or accredited research organization; (c) purchasing the product exclusively for in-vitro research purposes consistent with this RUO Policy.
4. No Efficacy or Safety Claims
getapep makes no representations regarding the safety, efficacy, or suitability of any product for use in humans or animals. No information on this website, in product documentation, or in any communication from getapep constitutes medical advice, veterinary advice, dosing guidance, or a therapeutic recommendation. All product descriptions are provided for scientific identification purposes only.
5. Regulatory Compliance
Products sold by getapep have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any other regulatory body for human or veterinary use. Purchasers are solely responsible for ensuring that their acquisition, storage, handling, and use of products complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
6. Enforcement and Termination
getapep reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate any order or account where there is reasonable suspicion that products are being purchased for purposes inconsistent with this RUO Policy. Misrepresentation of research intent or misuse of products may result in permanent account termination and, where applicable, reporting to relevant authorities.
7. Acknowledgment
By registering for an account and placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Research Use Only Policy in its entirety. This Policy forms part of the getapep Terms of Service.
